Step 2 – Tinker Bell’s Wings

After choosing the pattern for your wing, you must cut and secure your lacy or stocking like material to the wire. Bear in mid that the wire that you must use, must be able to support your chosen wings material. Secure all the rough edges of the wires, to avoid pinching the back of the wing’s wearer.

Carefully attach your wings to the back of the finished dress. If you feel like it is not strong enough, you can always use hooks for the shoulders, thus, acting like a second piece. Do not confuse butterfly wings with fairy wings.

You can complete your Tinker Bell costume with ballet shoes; just ensure that you choose the same color as your dress, so they can compliment each other. For the hairstyle, you can always put your hair or your child’s hair in a bun, or just leave it down.
